Several 90 Day Fiancé couples are growing richer together as they make a living after starting their own business. The 90 Day Fiancé franchise first launched in 2014 and was about international partners moving to the U.S. on a K-1 visa and adjusting to their new life before getting married within a span of 90 days. Since then, many couples have managed to stay married while others have parted ways.
There are some couples who put their 90 Day Fiancé fame to good use and are making decent money with it. While the cast does get paid for every episode of 90 Day Fiancé they star in, some even have regular jobs where they make an income. There have been some entrepreneurial couples from the show who have launched businesses and keep growing side by side every day.
8 Evelin Villegas & Corey Rathgeber
Corey Rathgeber from Mill A, Washington met Evelin Villegas from Ecuador in 2014 at a small tourist spot Montañita in Peru. Evelin was visiting Corey in the U.S. and staying with his family for six months during their 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1 debut. Corey left his family and life savings when he moved to Engabao because he wanted to open a cocktail bar by the beach with Evelin. In November 2021, Evelin claimed she lost the bar that was funded by Corey. He had apparently invested $40,000 in the property. In February 2022, Corey revealed it wasn’t just the bar that they lost.
Evelin’s family’s restaurant of 18 years was demolished after the orders given by the Engabao Communal Council. Corey claimed it was someone’s jealousy that destroyed the bar and restaurant. But the incident just motivated Corey and Evelin to work twice as hard, and by then they launched a new beachside bar and restaurant business in Engabao. Corey and Evelin’s bar is called Cocteles del Paraiso, while the restaurant is called Casa Del Cacique Tumbala.
