Village of Addyston Police Chief Dorian LaCourse is suspended with out pay pending an investigation, officers stated.

Addyston mayor Lisa Mear states in a letter that LaCourse purchased and offered weapons with out the approval of the Village.

Mear gave LaCourse the letter concerning his suspension Sunday and shared it with The Enquirer. Mear declined to remark additional, because the investigation is ongoing.

Based on the letter, LaCourse collected funds meant for the Village and used them to buy weapons with out the approval of Village Council. LaCourse didn’t subject a purchase order order or enable the cash to be accepted into the Village treasury.
